Well, Dear Readers, the appointment is over and I survived quite nicely. The gentleman, P, was right on time, and swiftly set to correcting me just as he'd promised - and then some. 

And look what he brought! A riding crop! 

Swoon...

My kitten seems fascinated by it, doesn't she? I think she's very interested in my punishments. She openly taunted me during cornertime today.

So expect there to be lots of fun with the crop in the future, Dear Readers.

The Appointment

 

I have an appointment tomorrow. It's a rather special appointment. I'm reticent to say too much about it, but suffice it to say that I'm filled with that dread/excitement that nearly makes me faint in anticipation.  

I've been told what to expect.  It makes me tremble to think of it. Pretty sure I'll feel rather sorted out tomorrow night at this time.

A Bit of Sad News...

 I've been keeping a bit of news to myself for a week or so, and I thought I'd share it now. 
Sir and I have decided to part ways. 
It's ONLY because of the difficulties inherent in a long-distance disciplinary relationship.  We remain good friends, and quite frankly, I'm still crazy for him. It's just become clear  that I need a Mentor who's within, oh, a couple of hundred miles or so.
I'm a temporarily sad but permanently strong girl.  I'll be alright.
